I’m working on catching up with sharing Peter’s monthly photos. He just turned 15 months old! I wanted to switch Peter out of a “onesie” starting after the first twelve months (especially since we’re using EC; it’s much easier to dress Peter in regular t-shirts so the onesies were just for the monthly photo).
I wasn’t able to find white shorts but I got two different white shirts and two pairs of khaki shorts to try. I took photos with all four combinations, and then realized that I accidentally put him in the 3T shirt that I got in case he outgrew the 2T shirt, and it was just way too big.
By the time I finally got him in the right outfit he was done with the whole thing. No more smiles, just looks of exasperation. Lesson to anyone else who wants to do this, try the outfit(s) a day or two ahead of time!
