Fresh Aire paint on clearance

We are going to paint the closet doors in our bedroom white this week and we wanted to make sure we got a paint that wouldn’t compromise our indoor air quality. While looking around for a decent deal on paint, we found out that Home Depot’s Fresh Aire paint is being discontinued and is on clearance.

When the Container Store was having their annual Elfa sale, we priced out a custom closet, but ultimately decided not to get it. In the bedroom I made due with the standard single bar and shelf, and here’s what I came up with.

Today I heard an interview with Ted Danson, talking about his new book Oceana. He talked about fishing and seafood, which I’ve been eating more of lately. I also included my thoughts on preparing fish.

Week 10: Freezer Organization (Recipe: Aromatic Meatballs)

This week I worked on using up some of the food in the freezer while cleaning and organizing it. This weekend I’m going to be doing lots of cooking so I can have plenty of easy meals on hand.

I’m loving our photo shelves


A few weeks ago I started working on the storage cabinets in our bedroom, but got stuck on the art to go above it. I was debating if we should use the photo shelves we had, and after seeing how great they look installed, I decided to go for it. What do you think?
