Last night I suddenly decided I wanted to go see the Sex and the City 2 movie. The series always had it’s over-the-top NYC fashion and fantasy, but stayed grounded in good storytelling about relationships. This movie continues the story with your favorite NYC girls in real time and does a great job of exploring the changes in relationships after marriage.

I don’t know why I’m so nervous about publishing this, but I thought it might be nice to share a little of who I am and why I started this blog.
I’ve been seeing a lot of great photos the last couple weeks of everyone’s gardens. I’m a bit jealous of all that soil you all have in your yards but my skylight herb garden is doing well!
I didn’t write last week because my grandpa died. It was so hard to say goodbye. He was a great man and I’m really going to miss him.
Today I placed an order for some unpaper towels. Since we’re on our last roll, now is the perfect time to replace them with something that can be washed and reused instead of single use paper towels that add to landfills and have to be continually restocked (and paid for).
To kick off the “green tour” of our home, I’m starting with the threshold; specifically the paper: catalogs, magazines, bills, statements, etc. While writing this post, I realized I still had a few thinks I needed to tackle, so this is also a “Tackle it Tuesday” post.
While trying to figure out how to get the word out about my new blog I learned about blog “memes.” This is an explanation of what a meme is as well as a few I think look interesting.
I’m excited to say that we’ve finally signed up for 100% wind power! I also analyze the data I’ve been collecting over the last couple years about our energy use.
